INSTRUCTIONS

To encourage and acknowledge the ongoing work of teaching girls critical leadership skills, what we fund is limited only to your creativity and imagination — from educator honorarium or professional development to classroom supplies for a unit or capstone project or field trip. Three $1,000 grants are awarded per year. Individuals who have been awarded a Classroom Catalyst grant in the last two calendar years are not eligible to be funded during the current round.

 

In 500-750 words (not including budget):

• Explain your intended purpose for the project, including how you plan to improve girls leadership skills and impact on boys and other students; 

​​

• Describe the project, including the duration and how many students you aim to influence; and

​​

• Sketch out a loose budget if you will use the funds in a way other than an honorarium.

REPORTING

After you receive a gift, at the conclusion of the project, we would appreciate having an email or letter from you and/or your students describing how the effort went and how the gift assisted you in achieving your goal(s). A short video of yourself highlighting your attempts, struggles, and/or successes at leadership would also be greatly appreciated.
